On feb 12, me and a friend attended U-Con, an anime convention held at the University of Connetticut. After a seven hour drive, which involved frequent stops at the various rest stations along the highways of NJ, we made it to the college. Unfortunately, being that it was the last day (our departure was delayed due to that weekend’s snowstorm) not much was going on. However, our efforts were rewarded with the appearance of the Nostalgia Critic himself, Doug Walker, not to mention an added appearance by Santa-Christ (aka Rob Walker). There were still videogames to be played, Cosplay shows to attend, Katamari balls to be tossed around, and engaging discussions to be had (including such insightful topics as the tastyness of donuts and the mysterious disappearance of Miranda Piker). A fun time was had by all.
